An experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic who has experience operating a mobile service truck is needed on a full-time basis.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will be:

• Troubleshoot and repair Heavy Duty vehicles, off-road mining and agricultural equipment for our off-site customers.
• Complete all required paperwork in detail and per established procedures.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following policies and procedures on quality, health, safety and environment.
• Will be required to perform both field and shop work as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

As a successful candidate for this position, you will have/be:

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification is an asset.
• Have heavy truck and trailer mechanical experience.
• Experience working on all types of engines. Knowledge of Maxxforce and Detroit engines is an asset.
• Experience operating a Mobile Service Truck.
• Welding capabilities.
• Able to reliably read and write maintenance reports and work order documentation.
• Possess strong attention to detail, as well as organizational and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable with technology.
• Capable of working independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have toolbox and basic tools (up to and including 1/2” drive socket set) sufficient to perform servicing and repairs.
• CVIP License is an asset.
• Capable of working in a physically demanding multi-tasking work environment. This position may also require overtime work.
• Have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Class 1 license would be considered an asset. (Driver’s Abstract required).
